Our experience with this daycare was extremely disappointing. We waited several months for our daughter to start because of administrative delays with the Chèque-Service Accueil. During that time, we paid €300 in cash as part of the required €600 deposit, and were repeatedly asked to pay the remaining €300. Our daughter eventually attended the daycare for only a few days during the adaptation period, spending approximately five hours there in total. Shortly afterwards, our family experienced an unexpected tragedy. My wife became pregnant, suffered serious complications, and sadly we lost our baby. Because of these circumstances, I immediately contacted the daycare, explained our situation, and asked if we could terminate the contract. I even offered for them to keep the €300 deposit I had already paid. Unfortunately, no compromise was offered. We were told that we had to continue paying under the three-month notice period, despite our daughter having attended only a few hours and despite the exceptional circumstances we were facing. Another issue was the price. Before signing the contract, we were told that the monthly cost would be around €240–300. Later, the invoices were much higher. When I questioned this, I was told that the amount originally given was only an estimate and that the final calculation was made by the Ministry. Throughout the entire process, I never refused to pay what I was legally required to pay. I repeatedly stated that if the invoices were correct, I would pay them. I simply wanted the amounts to be verified because they were very different from what had been explained to us. This situation eventually ended in legal proceedings and enforcement action, something I never imagined would happen after trying to communicate openly and find a reasonable solution. I encourage future parents to read every clause of the contract very carefully, especially regarding the notice period, the deposit, and the financial obligations before signing. Make sure you fully understand all the terms and ask for written confirmation of any information about pricing, as estimates may differ significantly from the final invoices. I genuinely hope that no other family has to go through such a difficult experience during what was already one of the hardest moments of our lives.
