The service provided by Mini Me does not deserve one star. Its management does. As far as the daycare in itself is concerned, the place is adequately spaced, clean, modern, and the staff does a wonderful job. Our child has always loved going there until the day they suddenly kicked us out. Hence the one star. If you are considering Mini Me for your child, make sure to read the fine lines: your contract will impose a 3-month notice on you if you want to quit the creche, but they can throw you out with only a 1-month notice, and we have learned the hard way that the manager cannot be trusted. As parents, we often focus on the conditions of the service in itself but overlook it's reliability, which is a serious issue here. In our case, after having had our child in Mini Me for 10 months, we were told, the day before the start of my second and last month of parental leave, that the next day would be the last day that our child would get to come to the creche. Just like that. The only explanation they produced was repeatedly referring to a conveniently vague change in their rule book that somehow justified what they were doing, and that allegedly there would suddenly be no more room for our child. Therefore, either this situation resulted from sheer management incompetence, or, more likely, the manager cares about nothing but profit and will happily throw you under the bus if she figures she can squeeze more money out of somebody else. This was a particularly low blow to us because they did it on the last day of July, and they knew that we were going to be on vacation for 2 weeks. As a result, we were left with a ruined vacation and only two stressful weeks to find a new creche, at a time when the managers of other creches are also often away. When we pointed this out, the manager mentioned that this was all part of the contract we had signed, and brought out her phone to show us a short email from some other parent telling us "look: this is how people terminate their contracts with us, so this is how I am doing it too." As if the actions of somebody else perfectly justified the punishment we were being administered. Further, given that we live 200 m away, suddenly changing creches will not only mean a new adaptation for our child to a new place, new tutors, and new friends, but will also have a disruptive impact into the logistics of our routine, which so far allowed us to simply walk to the creche. When I brought this up to the manager, pointing out that we always looked at them as our neighbors, she smiled and said that she would still wish us good morning if that's what we wanted. Which, obviously, wasn't the point. So, at the very least, this lady has zero sense of moral duty, absolutely no remorse for the distress her actions might inflict on other people, and a wicked sense of humor at an extremely inappropriate time. One couldn't help but feel as though treating us this way was giving her some sick kind of pleasure. Feelings aside, do keep in mind that this does not appear to be an isolated case. We had heard rumors from other parents about the manager's ruthlessness and did notice that there was always considerable turnover among the staff. Since then, we've heard of several other people to whom they did the same, particularly for part-time contracts. In some of these cases, the parents were only verbally notified that their child would have to leave, which allowed them to claim that it was the parents who, upon finding an alternative, had decided to leave of their own accord and were thus subject to a 3-month notice period, which they must either fulfill or pay for. So, if the possibility of being thrown out from one day to the next, with all the stress and upheaval that this might entail, is something you can live with, then go ahead: the facilities are great. Otherwise, if you value reliability and don't want to constantly wonder whether next month will be your turn, you might do well to look somewhere else.

I have been in contact with this facility since March 2026 to secure a spot for my child for January 2027. I followed all their procedures, provided the necessary information, and held a confirmed appointment for June 22nd, 2026, to finalize my contract. However, on the morning of my appointment, I was informed via email that they were cancelling my meeting and rejecting my application entirely. The management cited a "recent Ministry policy change" as the reason for prohibiting part-time enrollments. After contacting the Ministry of Education (MENJE) to verify, I received official confirmation that there is no such Ministry policy. Admission criteria and contract types are entirely at the discretion of the facility management. It appears the "Ministry policy" was a fabricated excuse to decline my application without transparency. I have been left in a difficult position after months of planning, and the lack of professional integrity in their communication was deeply disappointing. I am sharing this so that other parents can be aware of their admission practices when choosing a facility for their children. Take care with your childcare planning, everyone.
